Jean-François Hirschel, a leading financial services marketer, has launched a strategic marketing consultancy H-Ideas. Jean-François Hirschel, founder and CEO, H-Ideas has 25 years’ experience of marketing in the financial sector with deep knowledge of asset management and technology. Prior to establishing H-Ideas, Jean-François was Head of Marketing and Product Development and Member of the Executive Committee at Unigestion, a leading privately-held asset manager. He created and led Unigestion’s marketing team of over 15 people based in Geneva and London. During his decade at Unigestion from 2007 to 2017, his team and marketing strategies contributed significantly to the three-fold growth of assets under management to US$ 26.5 billion, as of 31 December 2017.

Previously Jean-François held senior marketing positions at Société Générale Asset Management and Paribas Asset Management. He earned his MSc in Computer Science in 1993 from the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). He also participated in an exchange programme in Computer Science with Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh, PA, U.S.A.).
